  • Understanding where food comes from (like the source of milk and eggs);
  • Learning the main food groups (dairy, fruits & vegetables, proteins, carbohydrates, and grains/cereals);
  • Making healthier food choices;
  • Building independence and responsibility;
  • Practicing kitchen safety;
  • Following recipes step by step;
  • Exploring baking, desserts, and decorating techniques; and
  • Designing and creating their own meals and culinary masterpieces (while developing cognitive, gross, and fine motor skills).
